Early Thursday morning, around 8:30 hrs, 37-year-old Dale Peters suffered an electric shock while working at the Hotel Tower, located on Main Street.
Peters who is from Amelia’s Ward, Linden, told this newspaper that he is a plumber employed at the hotel. He said that when he arrived at work Thursday, there was a problem with a light inside the building, so he had to go underneath the building to check the wiring.
According to Peters, he started doing some work under the building when he got “shocked”.
All he remembers after that is waking up at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). He was told that it was his work colleagues that took him to the hospital when he was unconscious.
