Dear Editor,
Was I reading right in the Trinidad Express? Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said, “It was not appropriate for her as head of the Government to be engaged in negotiations with the British Government and BAE Systems on the cancellation of the multi-billion-dollar contract for three offshore patrol vessels”.
She never said she will personally get involved. But on the other hand in Guyana, a ‘manager’, to ensure that the Skeldon Factory is fixed” warns with his usual threats to get “personally involved”.
This is a clear demonstration of the difference between a leader who surrounds herself with quality technicians and a ‘manager’ who surrounds himself with political mendicants.
I rest my case. God help Guyana to free itself from this political “has been” and his incompetent creatures. Sasenarine Singh
