Badminton to be played at Marian Academy
The Guyana Badminton Association Junior drive which has been targeting schools, again took place yesterday, this time at the Marian Academy on Carifesta Avenue.

The GBA President Gokarn Ramdhani along with National Under-19 Player Nicholas Ali visited the School where a donation of rackets (made available through the Pan American Badminton Federation) was made to Chris Bowman, the Sports coordinator of the school in the presence of Sister Marie Harper, Teachers and Students of the School.
The GBA President made a short speech on the plans for the development of Badminton in the School and encouraged the student to play and join the Schools Badminton Club.
