I sometimes become frustrated when people refuse to exhibit that bit of care and end up killing people on the roads. It is not going to end, because in the days ahead there would be more of the same.
Toward the end of the week there would be news of another vehicle jumping off the roads and hitting unwary pedestrians. The loss in property and the likelihood of spending some uncomfortable time in the lock-ups will not be deterrents.

A child is going to fall into a trench when its parents suffer a lapse in supervision. Neighbours are going to be harsh in their judgement, but the suffering parents would not agree. There will be an overspill of anger and it is this that would be cause for concern.
Of course, this would occur in the eastern part of the country where people pay more attention to their neighbours than their counterparts do in the city.

The gunmen would come out because they smell money. The difference is that in the drug world, those who have the money also have the means to defend themselves.
Bullets will fly and the innocent will duck for cover. Interesting times are ahead.
