Menezes believes Sunday is a defining moment for him

Menezes, a quiet and soft-spoken individual, but a daredevil on the track promised to thrown down the gauntlet on his counterpart and al the other contenders as he seek to take top honours this time around.
With the opportunity of representing Guyana at the second leg of the Caribbean Series at Bushy Park in Barbados a real possibility, Menezes, who rides a 2008 JSX R Suzuki disclosed that so far he hasn’t been able to put in the kind of practice he would have liked, but because there was no major problems with the bike in Jamaica, he envisages no difficulty come Sunday.
“Despite the fact that the bikes only arrived back in the country recently, I don’t think it would be difficult for us to get back into competition shape and form and I’m looking forward to producing a solid performance against whosoever comes to the line,” Menezes informed.
He said that the field could be a formidable one including Stephen (Vieira), Joel Neblett, Andy Rajkaran and Vickram Lall, but was still not intimidated by the opposition.
Menezes promised fans a day of exhilarating stuff that is not to be missed.
“ Though I do not want to make it sound as though it is a two-man race, everyone knows that myself and Stephen are very good friends, but that friendship goes on pause as soon as we’re under starter’s orders.”
