Bryan partners with Edghill and Humphrey to win two doubles titles
National table tennis player, Nigel ‘Poster Boy’ Bryan shared in two separate partnerships which resulted in two titles yesterday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall when the Guyana Table Tennis Association continued its Independence tournament.
Bryan and Chelsea Edghill teamed up in a power partnership to defeat Adielle Rosheuvel and Zane Humphrey 11-4, 11-8 and 11-8 in the final of the Mixed Doubles competition in the National Sports Commission-sponsored tournament.
Bryan then partnered with Humphrey to defeat Samuel Fraser and Sunil Logan 11-6, 11-8 and 14-12 in the Boys’ Final to launch his singles title campaign. The ‘C’ and ‘B’ Class Open, Men and Women Singles will continue today from 9:00am.
