An absurd comparison!
Dear Editor,
I refer to Professor Vijay Kumar’s letter (June 5, 2010) to remind him, Lara brought great happiness to the cricketing world, the Caribbean and T&T.
Bolt brought great happiness to the sporting world, the Caribbean and Jamaica.
Where is the happiness Jagdeo brought?
As President of Guyana, the murders and abuse that are occurring in Guyana on a daily basis are of no concern, as, in his own words, it is not as bad as Jamaica.
You made mention of the World Bank and the IMF. You should read up on what the great leader of Jagdeo’s PPP thought of these two institutions
He must be turning in his grave.
Your Jagdeo benefits from others who have sacrificed their lives.
Professor Kumar you have a lot to learn, you should be ashamed of yourself making this comparison.
