Brooklyn twin brothers who tried to rob a Connecticut apartment were fatally gunned down by the pistol-packing resident.
Andrew and Andraw Moses, both 21, each took a bullet to the head during a wild shootout in an East Hartford apartment early last Friday, officials said.
The twin hailed from McDoom, East Bank Demerara. They left Guyana before they were teenagers.
Investigators believe the brothers, who lived in Crown Heights, and a third man burst into the home and killed its occupant, Shawna Hudson, 26.
Hudson’s boyfriend walked in during the robbery and exchanged gunfire with the invaders.
The boyfriend, whose name was not released, was wounded but survived.
He is not being co-operative with investigators, an East Hartford police spokesman said.
The brothers’ accomplice escaped the shootout and remains at large. Investigators suspect he has returned to New York City, the police spokesman said.
Investigators would not say why Hudson’s home was targeted but revealed that 200 pounds of marijuana recently were seized in another apartment in the same residential complex.
The Moses brothers – who were identified by their fingerprints – each had prior drug arrests.
