Razack hit half century as Satro beat Rebel
A fine half century by Shazaad Razack propelled Satro to a 63 run victory over Rebel as play in the P&P Insurance Brokers 40 over cricket competition commenced in Leguan with one match.
Played at Whyte’s Park, Satro batted first and scored 186 all out off their allotted overs. Razack led with 77 (5×4, 5×6) and got support from Trevor White 39. Deonarine Deroop grabbed 3-31.
Rebel replied with 123 all out in 27 overs. Tatteshwar Narine top scored with 32 while Wazir Ali made 30 as medium pacer Imran Khan bagged 5-21 for the winners.
The competition continues on Sunday.
