Final year social work students of the University of Guyana and tortured teenager Sean Thomas were among several groups and individuals who were beneficiaries of donations made possible through the Mark Benschop Foundation.
The Agricola and Festival City Youth Groups were also beneficiaries.
The Agricola group received a desktop computer and books, while the final year university students were given a collection of books which would be beneficial to them.
The tortured teen was also given a desktop computer and books, while the Festival City group received books.
The donations were made possible through a collaborated effort with overseas-based Guyanese.
