Lugard Mohan not only Guyanese to aggregate over 100 points at a Caricom C/ship

Please allow me the space to correct Stabroek News Reporter Rawle Toney. In Thursday’s Edition of the Stabroek News Mr. Toney’s story Mohan and Young ready for first outing as FIBA Referees mentioned that former two times Caricom All stars Guard Lugard Mohan holds the record for the only Guyanese basketball player to score over 100 points at a Caricom Championship.
The first player to score over 100 points at a Caricom Championship is Guyanese Stanislaus Hadmon. Hadmon aggregated 122 points from only five games at the Inaugural Caricom Championship hosted by Guyana in August of 1981.
The other Guyanese with over 100 points at the Caricom level is Colts United Centre Lorenzo Withrite.
The dynamic centre achieved the feat from 9 matches during the 1996 Caricom Championship in Trinidad & Tobago. He finished that tournament with 139 points.
Guard Mohan also aggregate over 100 points at that same Championship but distinguished himself by replicating the feat at the (2000) Championship in Barbados becoming the only Guyanese player to achieve the feat twice at Caricom Championship level.
