PNCR supporters want amicable resolution of the leadership dispute

The dispute over the conduct and results of the elections for the PNCR leadership is of course cause for great concern among the membership and supporters, not to mention disquiet.
But being at one time the governing party and now the main opposition, the rest of the population is also naturally concerned.
We note the claims and charges, and also counter claims and charges, including the statement that Mr. Winston Murray, one of the contenders, was cheated out of being the elected leader. If this is substantiated then it would indicate a radical shift in the views, attitudes and thinking of party members and delegates.
On the other hand, Mr. Corbin, the declared leader has indicated that there will be a mending of the fences, so to speak, and we have to wait to see what comes out of this.
All this bickering in the free media is very unseemly however, given the dark and lurid history of this party, which has not yet come to terms with its past, especially as a party that usurped government of the country through fraudulent elections, and the practices then are, it would seem, still a part of its culture.
A large number of people, representing their members and supporters, are not at ease and would like to see some sort of amicable resolution of the leadership dispute, and I daresay the rest of the population too, as a prolonged dispute could lead to unwelcome developments in other areas, as a spin off.
