B’ce name 36-man squad to prepare for GCB Inter County tourneys
The Senior Selection Committee of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) under the Chairmanship of Pastor Mark Lyte has commenced preparations for the upcoming Guyana Cricket Board Inter County one-day and four day tournaments.
The committee selected a 36-member squad to prepare for the competitions. Heading the 36-man squad named for the training sessions and trial matches are Narsingh Deonarine, Mahendra Nagamootoo, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Royston and Esaun Crandon, Assad Fudadin, Brendon Bess, Devendra Bishu and Veerasammy Permaul. Missing is national player Gajanand Singh who represented Demerara last year.
The full list of players called are: Jonathan Foo, Veerasammy Permaul, Devendra Bishu, Ranga Lachigadu, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Imran Khan, Narsingh Deonarine, Rajiv Ivan, Homchand Pooran, Yougeshwar Harrinarine, Royston Crandon, Esaun Crandon, Andre Percival, Troy Mathieson, Mahendra Nagamootoo, Delbert Hicks, Anthony Bramble, Sherwin Murray, Eugene La Fleur, Paul Wintz, Quacy Maltay, Brendon Bess, Karamdat Bissoondyal, Arthley Bailey, Keron Fraser, Keon Joseph, Krisendat Ramoo, Keith Fraser, Michael Newland, Michael Saul, Richard Ramdeen, Andrew Williams, Devon Clements, Stephen Latcha and Sanjay Khan.
Players named are requested to report at the Albion Community Centre Ground on Monday August 24 at 10.00hrs fully uniformed and equipped.
