Dear Editor,
It should be noted primary that all countries on this Earth impose selective immigration.
I am Guyanese born and bred; who happens to hold a British passport and who along with others likewise in England and North America had never experienced any type of hindrance at the ports of entry in the Caribbean including Barbados.
I am also certain there are many holders of Guyanese passports whom will have unhindered passage of entry in countries throughout the world.
Herein is the dilemma facing home-based Guyanese; unsolicited economic migrants places great burdens on the socio-economical structure framework of a country as most do not contribute to the infrastructure.
It is therefore important to reguralise this anomaly; it is to the benefit of all contributors to the State system and will improve inter-relationships between all in the Caribbean.
