The preliminary inquiry into allegations of rape by popular promoter Colin Mack continued yesterday before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Mack is accused of raping a 19-year old woman on April 12.
Yesterday, the victim who was heavily supported by her family continued to give her account of what transpired on the night in question.
The promoter remains behind bars until tomorrow when the preliminary inquiry continues and the victim would be crossed examined by the defence.
Colin Mack is represented by attorney at law Glenn Hanoman.
According to police, the victim in a statement said that she was held against her will for several hours at a Festival City house, where she was sexually assaulted by the promoter. The teen said that she shouted for help, but no one came to her rescue even though the houses were in hearing distance.
She managed to escape by hanging her naked body through a window when a taxi driver came to her rescue.
