School of Nursing needs to present credentials to reopen
Dear Editor,
Nanda Kissoon, whoever you might be and whether your nursing institute was a legitimate one or not, the relevant authorities has a job to do.
You need to be as clear as crystal and fully corporate with the authorities, should your desire to re-open in Guyana becomes a reality, as reported in the SN dated 3.15.2009 and titled, “Kissoon adamant nursing school no scam – plans to re-open.”
I will not rush to judgement and, if you can help me understand your approach, it might help in your defence from the negative attraction you would have received to date via the media.
Is there any other person/s on your institutionsboard? Did any ads or public notices appear in the daily newsprints or television with regards to the connection to the School of Nursing University in New Jersey, USA before this drama began?
I would want to think that you used this route to attract students to enrol at your institution.
If it wasn’t, how did students know about your school?
To date, has anyone from the New Jersey branch come to your defence by way of any contact with the investigation authorities or Health Ministry?
Did you have any input with that advertisement which appeared in the newspapers with no signature?
If you did, why did you choose to do that?
It would be worthless to consider re-opening to the public if you cannot prove transparency.
