GABBFF releases calendar of events
The Guyana Amateur Body Building & Fitness Federation (GABBFF) has released the dates for its novice, intermediate and senior championships for 2009.
The novice and intermediate competitions are slated for May 3 at the Theatre Guild, Parade Street Kingston with muscles to begin flexing at 19:00hrs.
The senior muscle men and women will have their turn on August 9 at the National Cultural Centre, Mandela Avenue.
The top performers at seniors will be eligible for selection to represent Guyana at the upcoming Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships scheduled for St. George’s, Grenada in September.
Very shortly, the Executive Committee will release its proposed calendar of fund raising and outreach activities. A body building sports clinic is being planned.
Their next meeting is scheduled for Sunday.
