Wayne Castello, also known as “Satan”, of Central Rupununi, yesterday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson charged with larceny of cattle.
On July 26, 2007 at Pirara Ranch, Central Rupununi, Castello along with two others allegedly stole five cows valued $125,000, property of Live-Stock Investment.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge, but did ask for reasonable bail. The defendant was refused bail and his matter was transferred to the Lethem Magistrate’s Court for March 3, next.
