Cheryl Sampson taking her oath yesterday in the National Assembly
The Chairperson of the National Congress of Women (NCW), Cheryl Sampson, was yesterday sworn-in as a new Member of Parliament occupying the seat vacated by James McAllister.
McAllister was recently recalled by the People’s National Congress Reform.
Sampson is a trained teacher by profession and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Distance Education from the University of London.
She also has a Diploma in Public Communication from the University of Guyana, a Diploma in Political Science from La Escuela Superior Del Partido – Havana, Cuba, and a Diploma in Business Studies from the Government Technical Institute, Guyana.
