Sarah defeat All Star in final
Sarah defeated All Star by 7 wickets in the final of Chandreka Ragnauth 15 overs softball cricket competition played last Sunday at Belle Plaine in Wakenaam.
All Star batted first and made 127 all out in 14 overs with Vickram Ramnarine getting 31 and Roopnarine Persaud 29. Extras contributed 22. Satnarine Sahadeo bagged 4-19 and Ragnauth 2-24.
In reply Sarah hit off the required total in 11 overs ending on 128 for 3.
Man-of-the-match Melvorne Daniels top scored with 56 while Somnauth Prashad supported with 29. Anand Dinban took 2-36 for All Star.
