The Ministry of Sport should intervene in this dispute
Dear Editor,
I have read Mr. Colin Klass’s announcement that he will not resign, but will leave in similar fashion as he entered.
I have not heard such a shameless and barefaced utterance in quite a long time from a person who is supposed to be accountable to the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) and the nation at large.
It appears that Mr. Klass has the backing of the Director of Sports, who in similar situations was most vocal. The Minister of Sports and Steve Ninvalle have not said anything concerning this burning issue which has the attention of the nation.
Mr. Klass behaves as though he is Mr. Football and can do what he wishes. The Minister of Sports must intervene in this crisis, for the sake of the development of football. Since Mr. Klass is the head of football, the standard of football has degenerated and has reached its lowest ebb. The football fraternity is crying out for your help, Mr. Minister.
It is only your timely intervention that can save football.
I read in the print media where Klass has gone to represent the GFF. The entire football fraternity would welcome seeing the back of Mr. Colin Klass and his sorts.
