DEAR EDITOR,
The Guyana Justices of the Peace & Commissioners of Oaths to Affidavits Association recognises and thus wishes to express our deep appreciation to the Guyana Bar Association for its Third Bar Review compilation following the 1998 Review.
Indeed, many of the existing laws in Guyana have been found to be archaic and therefore irrelevant to the realities of today.
We strongly believe that while the exercise on Constitutional reform is time-consuming and painstaking, consistent efforts to improve access to justice bit by bit are necessary by all entities responsible for such.
