Large foreign invasion expected
The final event of the Caribbean Series is anticipated to be the biggest showdown for sometime according to President of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) Vishok Persaud.
Persaud speaking with Kaieteur Sport said that a large number of drivers and riders from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, St. Vincent and the Grenadines along with those from Canada and the United States of America have already confirmed participation for the November 2 Meeting, at the South Dakota Circuit.
With the current points standing in the Caribbean segment a close affair, most of the drivers who’re still in with a chance of copping the coveted title will be hoping that their cars perform reliably and that they produce the kind of performance that will ensure victory.
Meanwhile, the tussle for Most Outstanding Performers in the respective categories is still a close race and riders and drivers will be positioning themselves and preparing their machines to perform at optimum.
