EDFA under-15 league second round
Wins for Buxton United & Plaisance
East Coast Demerara’s leading junior teams Buxton United and Plaisance both recorded wins in second round action of the East Demerara Football Association under-15 league contested on the weekend.
Buxton United overcame Melanie 2-1 and Plaisance turned back the challenge of B.V. Triumph United, 3-1.
On target for Buxton was Dellon Boston in the 15th minute and Okemi Edwards in the 55th. For Plaisance, Keion Ismond converted a double (15 & 29) with Kelvin Bowen touching in the other in the 63rd. Malcolm Wilson scored B.V.’s consolation in the 60th. Play is expected to continue this weekend.
