Dear Editor,
Here we go again, Guyana Human Rights Association (GHRA) calling for an impartial and vigorous investigation into the death of convicted prisoner Edwin Niles.
No one hears a single word from GHRA about the willful shooting at point blank range of Parsaram Parmanand as he was about to leave his home for work.
The Guyana Human Rights people always mourn and groan the death of convicted criminals, especially with names like Edwin Niles, but no remorse for the working class like Parsaram.
Even the blind could see right through Guyana Human Rights people, who represent one sector and one nationality of Guyana’s society, and to hell with all others. Guyana Human Rights Association people are biased, and that is all there is to it.
Government and its people must pay no attention to it.
