These operations are not connected
DEAR EDITOR,
The article “Black timber in red shipping containers” published on July 5th and written by Ms. Janette Bulkan causes one to raise the question of the real motives of Ms. Bulkan, particularly since the main point of the article is not factual.
Certainly a check with GFC would have satisfied her curiosity. The article speaks of the operations of Demerara Timbers LTD at Mabura and the movement of sealed containers from that location.
We wish to point out that the operations of DTL are not connected to Bai Shan Lin and we have never been involved in the movement of containers from Mabura to Georgetown.
