Six injured in Campbellville accident
Six persons were injured in an accident that occurred yesterday afternoon at the corner of Garnett and Middleton Streets Campbellville, involving a mini bus (BHH 6992) and a private car (PKK 6724).

According to bystanders, at around 14:45 hrs, the route 48 mini bus was driving west along Garnett Street when the car, which was proceeding south along Middleton Street, failed to stop at the junction and hit the bus.
Passengers and the conductor of the Sophia mini bus were injured, while the driver of the car was unharmed.
Most of the injured were taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), where they were treated and sent away.
Carlton Lewis, a passenger of the bus, was the only one who sustained injuries that required him to be admitted to the hospital.
The front of the car was badly damaged, while the windshield and windows of the mini bus were shattered. The mini bus also sustained damages to the left side, where the car hit it.
