Beavers FC devour Queenstown in Elite League Qualifiers

Sunday evening at Providence, the win belonged firmly to the latter category, as Beavers Football Club delivered a ruthless, commanding display to dismantle Queenstown FC 3-0 and advance in the 2026 Elite League Qualifiers.
From the first whistle, Beavers moved with a sense of purpose that their opponents simply could not match. Neither side was willing to overcommit in the early exchanges; Queenstown searching for a foothold, Beavers settling into the composure of a team that knew exactly what they had and how to protect it. But it was the calm before the storm.
As the clock wound toward the final ten minutes, Queenstown’s defensive organisation began to show the cracks that a relentless Beavers side had been probing all evening. In the 85th minute, Darius Stephen needed no second invitation. Exploiting a lapse in the opposition’s backline with instinctive precision, he drove the ball past the Queenstown goalkeeper to make it 2-0, refuting any doubts on the outcome.
Three minutes later, Liangel Machin capping a fine performance with decisive hit- brilliant, composed, the kind of clinical execution that defines knockout football, bringing the final score to 3-0 and sent Beavers through in emphatic fashion.
With the final whistle came confirmation that Beavers FC march on to face Timehri United in what amounts to a virtual semifinal on Wednesday evening, with a place in the final firmly on the line.
Another compelling fixture is when Campton FC take on Potaro Strikers in game two. Two matches. Two final’s tickets at stake.
For Elite League faithful, it promises to be an unmissable evening of football.
