After the conclusion of the regional conferences, attention will turn to the regional playoffs and finals, which are scheduled for June 10, with matches set to be played across Wednesday, Friday June 12, and Sunday June 14.
The festival will culminate in the National Championship and All-Star Games, running from June 28 to July 5, bringing together the best young talent from across the country. The celebrations will continue with the High School All-Star Weekend on July 11.
YBG also confirmed that more detailed information, including full schedules, game fixtures, and partnership activations, will be released in the coming days.
In a statement, the organisation expressed gratitude to its supporters, emphasizing their role in the continued growth of the sport. “We thank you for your continued support in advancing youth development through grassroots basketball nationwide,” the release noted.
Additionally, the official launch of the 19th KFC National Schools Basketball Festival is scheduled for Friday, June 12, at 2:00 pm at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
With a comprehensive calendar of events and nationwide participation, the festival which is sponsored by KFC Restaurant is once again poised to play a key role in developing young basketball talent while energizing communities across Guyana.
