NAREI to spend $30M to reconstruct Timehri Office

(Kaieteur News) – The National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute (NAREI) in its effort to improve its operations on the East Bank of Demerara, plans to reconstruct its Timehri Office for an estimated cost of $30,041,124.

According to bids submitted to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) office, a total of 41 contractors bid to execute the project.

This project forms part of the $106.6 billion approved for the Ministry of Agriculture in the national budget.
