(Kaieteur News) – Twenty-eight-year-old Vanlisha Warrick, a mother of one, lost her Queenstown Village, Essequibo Coast, Region Two home to a fire on Thursday.
Warrick, a hairdresser and makeup artist, lived in the house with her 7-year-old son.
A villager told this publication that Warrick was at the salon which is located a few houses away from her home, when she was alerted that her house was on fire.
This publication understands that she was unable to salvage any belongings as the blaze spread rapidly.
