(Kaieteur News) – Dem boys seh dem is hard times now. Cost-of-living climbing like monkey on a mango tree and every month bill doing long division pon people lil salary. But while nuff citizens counting pennies, dem boys seh is pure inspiration watching the quiet financial brilliance flowering right inside de Ministerial class. Some Ministers, dem boys notice, got a special gift: give dem lil something today and, like loaves and fishes, tomorrow it turn into plenty. No noise, no fuss—just steady multiplication.
Dem boys seh you got to admire the choreography. Is like a well-rehearsed dance——and before you know it, wealth bowing to the audience. And we are told is nothing fancy involved eh: just hard work, discipline, and sound financial planning. Imagine that. All this time people think they poor because things hard, but really and truly is because they planning unsound.
Dem boys seh maybe it time for these champions of common sense to give back to the nation. Not with long policy speeches, but with teaching. A nice TV programme: “How to Get Rich While Times Hard.” Picture some of the enlightened ones with whiteboard and marker, explaining slow-slow how savings does stretch further when you really want it to, how borrowing could be a pathway to comfort, and how even small assets—once you get them—does wake up one morning and start working for you.
Dem boys seh teachers, nurses, public servants and small business people would sleep better knowing that prosperity is not luck, is timing. Make the right decision at the right time—and preferably in the right chair—and things does fall into place.
Yes, dem boys seh, when the economy biting hard, these success stories remind we that ambition still got space, vision still paying dividends, and long-term financing is a very good friend if you treat it nice. And if some citizens can’t manage to repeat these miracles, well, dem boys seh the message simple: try harder, save smarter, and maybe sit down and learn from the people who really know how to make things work.
Talk half. Leff half.
