(Kaieteur News) – Co-founder of School of the Nations and Nations University, Dr. Brian O’Toole passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, his family has announced. He was 71.
According to a release from the family, Dr. O’Toole was a member of the Baháï community and a renowned, much-loved and respected figure across and Guyana and beyond.
“Dr. O’Toole will be remembered for his kindness, string work ethic, service to humanity, sense of humor, his unwavering live and commitment to his faith, family and Guyana, and the lasting legacy of service, mentorship and compassion he leaves behind,” his family noted.
He leaves behind his wife, Pamela and children and five grandchildren.
