(Kaieteur News) – Three Guyanese women have been selected to participate in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Global Entrepreneurship and Technology (GET) Forum 2025, sponsored by the WE3A project. The prestigious event will take place in San Salvador, El Salvador, from November 30 to December 2, 2025.
The three representatives are Ms. Avia Maria Lindie, an innovative strategist and CEO of Evolve Business Solutions Inc, Sophia Dolphin, founder of GloSee Marketing and PR, and Filisha Duke, trailblazer in workforce accessibility, the Founder & CEO of Sure Gig Inc., a company redefining HR leadership in Guyana. The women were chosen to represent three categories of the workforce; oil and gas, AI innovation and advocacy and marketing.
The opportunity stems from the women’s active involvement as members of the Women’s Chambers and Commerce, which hosted the WE3A training programme. Their participation in the training has led to this international recognition, showcasing the value of continuous learning and engagement in professional development initiatives. WE3A Regional, Thunderbird School of Management, and the IDB Lab are sponsoring the event.
Ms Lindie was selected as lead for the GET Forum is an expert in her field, with over 30 years of cross-sector executive experience in entrepreneurship, blending strategic insight with people-centered innovation. Her expertise spans leadership development, governance, and digit transformation-empowering organisations to grow with clarity, purpose and resilience.
She is the Founder and CEO of Evolve Business Solutions Inc a GYs 901:2024 QMS-compliant and WEConnect International Certified Women’s Business Enterprise, and boutique consultancy offering leadership development, business transformation, and digital innovation solutions.
She is also the co-creator of Avi Al and Silvie Al, an Al-powere 24/7 Customer Service Representative deployed on WhatsApp and the wel in 50+ languages.
Ms Lindie told the publication “I was also selected to present at the Forum on Evolve Business Solutions Inc., showcasing Avi AI and Silvie AI. The backstory is that I participated in the WE3A Women Entrepreneur Accelerate 6-month programme, ‘Strengthening Women Entrepreneurs in Value Chains,’ hosted by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Guyana.’”
Dolphin’s selection is a testament to her leadership and innovative approach in marketing and business networking. As the founder of GloSee Marketing and PR and host of the annual business networking event she has consistently championed local entrepreneurship and community engagement, most notably through the annual Brunch with Bosses, which brings together business leaders for collaboration and growth.
At the GET Forum, Dolphin will join outstanding innovators and entrepreneurs from across the region, connect with investors, and explore new tools in business technology and innovation. She has also been invited to present at the WE3A booth, further highlighting her impact and expertise.
The seasoned marketing professional is passionate about using her platform—through her radio show, social media, and annual networking event to help startups, professionals, and industry leaders invest in and support initiatives that drive growth and empowerment.
