(Kaieteur News) – A cattle larceny investigation on the East Coast Demerara has led to the arrest of a 44-year-old man following the discovery beef, cow skin and a heifer alive, at a property located at Factory Road, Paradise, E.C.D.
A 61-year-old farmer of Melanie Railway Embankment, ECD reported to police in Regional Division 4 ‘C’ that two heifers were stolen from a pasture at Bachelor’s Adventure, between Saturday, March 14, 2026 at about 17:30hrs and Monday, March 16, 2026 around 06:00hrs.
Acting on information received, police conducted a search on the Paradise property leading to the discovery of beef and skin. Police also recovered one of the missing animals alive.
The suspect was then arrested.
