(Kaieteur News) – A 27-year-old woman, on Monday, was found guilty of possession of 540 grams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and sentenced to 32 months in prison.
Lisa Ramnarine, who appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Leron Daly, was also fined $810,000.

Ramnarine, who was arrested by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU), was remanded to prison.
