(Kaieteur News) – 26-year-old Jarell Taylor, called ‘Meaty,’ a miner of Lot 53, Britton Street, Plaisance, ECD, appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #1 before Magistrate Clive Nurse, where he was charged with the offence of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Taylor was said to have in his possession 247 grams of cannabis.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him, and was then remanded to prison.
His next court appearance is set for December 18, 2025.
