Thief flees with hair dye, tools, clothes from Essequibo home
Kaieteur News – A 51-year-old businessman’s home at Hampton Court, Essequibo Coast, was broken into on Saturday, and several household items were stolen.
Stolen items found outside businessman’s home that are lodged at the Anna Regina Police station.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Saturday. Initial investigations revealed that a window on the lower flat of the house had been prised open, and police believe the suspect gained entry through that point. “The interior of the home was found ransacked,” police said.
Police further stated that several items of clothing and other personal effects were discovered outside near the opened window. However, the suspect managed to escape.
The discovered items were lodged at the Anna Regina Police Station.
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage as investigations continue.
