Kaieteur Sports – The National Sports Commission (NSC) in collaboration with the Guyana Darts Association (GDA) will stage a Darts Camp starting Saturday for youths aged 10 to 17 years.
The venue is the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) at Thomaslands and the event will be held on November 8, 15 and 22 between the hours of 9:00 and 12:00. Registration is free and contact can be made with Natasha on 610-7781 and or Adrian on 649-9955.
The programme is aimed at teaching the game of Darts to young people in a fun atmosphere that encourages skill building and Maths-friendly competition. Prizes will be available for the outstanding performers and light refreshments will be served.
Youngsters interested in learning the game of darts can register at the earliest opportunity at the above listed numbers. The GDA will be providing the necessary equipment and their personnel will be on hand to teach the students.
