Top Ranking will take the line today as Three Men Promotion host ultimate six-race card at Georgetown Turf Club today
Kaieteur Sports – The thundering sound of hooves will echo once again across the Georgetown Turf Club (GTC) as the legendary venue ignites today with the electrifying ‘Clash of the Horse’, a six-race spectacle brought to life by Three Men Promotion.
It’s more than just a race meet, it’s a full-throttle return to form for Guyana’s horse racing scene, and fans are already brimming with excitement. Gates open, spirits rise, and from 1:00 PM, the turf comes alive.
At the heart of the action lies the J-Class Feature Event, a high-stakes showdown where the best of the best will battle for a whopping $300,000 cash prize. With $150,000 up for second, $75,000 for third, and $37,000 for fourth, expect nothing short of fierce competition from start to finish.
The full race card is stacked and diverse, featuring:L-Open, Two-Year Guyana Bred (Unclassified), Unclassed, Small Horses Race and First Time Starters Race.
And if that’s not enough to stir the adrenaline, the lineup of horses promises fireworks. Fan favourites like Top Gun, Nice Time, and Top of the Cloud are set to clash with tenacious challengers including Ben Laden, Lion Heart, Kiss Coco, Randy Filly, Top Ranking DR, Dray Adapted Son, and the ever-quick Little Tictack.
All eyes are also on the Top Ranking Stable, whose camp is exuding unshakable confidence. With their sights set on the Champion Jockey title, they’re galloping in with grit, hunger, and horsepower to spare.
