Kaieteur Sports – Long standing supporter of sports, Trophy Stall, has lent support to the successful hosting of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport ‘One Guyana Domino Cup’ which is set for Sunday at the National Track and Field Center, Leonora, Region 3.
The entity has sponsored the first-place trophy for the event which is set commence at 13:00hrs.
Yamona Rajpaul of Trophy Stall said they are pleased to be associated with the tournament and wished the teams well. She added that they are also looking forward to a successful competition.
Prem Persaud of the organising committee expressed gratitude to the sponsors.
To date, 30 teams have registered for the tournament- Allstar of Wakenaam, West Side, Pacesetters, Moody 6, Parika, Frankies, Determine, Shatters, Leguan, Cold Fusion, Tone, Upsetters, Big Lall, 7000, Good Times.
The winning team will take home a trophy and $500,000, runner up a trophy and $250,000, third place a trophy and $100,000.
The MVP and the player that share the first double love will receive $10,000 each.
Among the sponsors are Hussain Security Service, Fire Side Grill, Jacobs Jewellery, Trophy Stall, TELCO, Haseeb Hamid Welding and Fabricating, Tony’s Jewellery, F and H Printery, Leonard Leung and Fazia Auto Sale.
