Dear Mr. Editor,
Kaieteur News – In the first place, I do not put much store into what America is doing at the moment, given what is happening in that country.
I now give some reasons why I might vote for Mr. Mohamed:
This list is not exhaustive but Mr. Mohamed will get my vote if he commits to them.
The point, Mr. Nascimento, is whether you support this government or Mr. Mohamed, depends on whose lens you are looking through. For example, if I was enjoying a cushy consultancy contract with Duty Free concession and other benefits with the ability to take outside consultancies also I will certainly support the status quo because my bread is well buttered with some jam on it also. But if I am one of those who is struggling to make ends meet, who is seeing all the opulence in front of him being enjoyed by a favoured few, I would vote for Mr. Mohamed.
I believe this is called self-interest.
