Kaieteur News- The body of one of the Fredricks twins, wanted for a series of armed robberies, was discovered on Wednesday in a clump of bushes, with gunshot wounds about his body.
According to a report from the Guyana Police Force (GPF), 23-year-old Kellon Fredricks was found motionless at Onderneeming, Sand Pit, Essequibo Coast. He was found facing downwards in an open area surrounded by tall bushes.
The body was examined, and a scorpion tattoo was seen on his left chest. Suspected gunshot wounds were found on the right side of his head and upper back. Additionally, suspected blood was found around his face.
Police said the body was clad in a pair of long black damaged jeans, a long-sleeved grey jersey, and a grey Hanes boxer. A yellowish metal wristwatch was found alongside the remains.
Police also found a blue, cream, and brown strip single mattress, several empty snack packs ( big foot, tortilla, Carmel, kiss cake among other snacks), one (1) live round of 7.62 X 39 ammunition, two (2) cards of Panadol tablets and several pieces of clothing, about (30) feet from the body in the southern direction.
In addition, about ten (10) feet away from the said area, there were several pieces of clothing, sheets, empty snack packs, and a small empty pot.
Also found next to the body was a pair of grey rubber slippers, a black ski mask, and a grey cap with suspected human blood.
Frederick’s body was later escorted to the Suddie Hospital, where it awaits a post-mortem examination. The body was seen and examined by Dr. Matinee Singh, a General Medical Officer (GMO), who pronounced him dead on arrival.
The GPF on Friday, April 11, 2025, reissued a wanted bulletin for “notorious” twin brothers Kellon and Kevin Fredricks, in relation to a series of armed robberies and murders committed between December 2023 and January 2024.
The police stated that the brothers committed the offences in Region Seven in the Arimu, Sandhill, Oku and Aranka communities. They also committed offences in Sandpit, Region Two.
In addition, Kellon was also wanted for the murder of Zaheer Sheriff and Donovan Washington.
Their last known address was listed as Onderneeming, Sandpit, Region Two and Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
