Kaieteur News- A 23-year-old construction worker from Annandale Sand Reef, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was remanded to prison on two counts of simple larceny.
Rasheed Mohamed on Thursday appeared before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce at Vigilance Magistrate’s Court. He pleaded not guilty after the charges were read to him.
Mohamed is accused of committing the offence between March 23 and 24 2025 at Lusignan, ECD. He stole $98,800 worth of items from Sherwin Sancho and $45,000 worth of items from Michael John on the same day at the said address.
Magistrate Scarce remanded Mohamed until his next court date, which is scheduled for April 29, 2025.
