Kaieteur News – The Guyana Press Association (GPA) congratulates the publisher, editor and staff of the Kaieteur News on its 30th Anniversary. Kaieteur News as an entity and news agency has become synonymous with resilience within the journalism industry.
Over the decades, the entity backed by its many staffers from editors and journalists to print staff have pursued and stuck with national issues for the benefit of the public. Journalism is important more than ever as civic space continues to dwindle and new challenges as well as threats to the media and their economic viability emerge.
This makes the job even more demanding for journalists and media entities like Kaieteur News that continue to provide news and information for the public’s benefit. For this, the GPA congratulates all those past and present who worked to make Kaieteur News a household name.
