Chaitram Ramotar impressive at MMAKA championships
Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Mix Martial Arts Karate Association (MMAKA) held the 2nd annual Martial Arts Championship on Sunday 22nd October 2023. Chaitram Ramotar of the Invisible Kicks Martial Art Academy, located in La Parfait Harmony reached the Grand Championship for Kata which involved 13 students along with himself.
Chaitram Ramotar collects his prize from Sensei Master Lloyd Ramnarine.
Ramotar secured the first place in the Grand Championship for kata Division. He also got 1st in Traditional Kata, 1st in Team kata, 2nd in Flag Sparring, 3rd on point sparring and 1st in Shambar.
Young Ramotar said after the competition, “I would like to thank my Instructor Master Lloyd Ramnarine for working with me to be at the stage I am today.”
