National Draughts tournament set for Sunday
Kaieteur Sports – The National Draughts Association would be holding a national Draughts tournament on Sunday July 23, 2023 at the Georgetown Football Club Pavilion, starting time 10:00am sharp.

The game is now commencing after the suspension of tournaments during the pandemic along with other setbacks.
The games would be played on the 8 X 8 boards. There would be a six-round system consisting of two games per match. Both A and B class players would participate but would be judged separately. Players are asked to walk with their mask and be on time for the draw.
The game is made possible through contributions from ISA Islamic School, Gentle Elias Attorney at Law and two other individuals.
