Send Bill to Select Committee
Dear Editor,
The various media reports on the proposed security agency present more questions than answers provided. It is confusing that the director could be equal in status to the CoP and the Chief of Staff, with apparent, from this lay person perspective, far reaching powers.
This undertaking needs more clarity to be fully comprehended. The Bill should not be rushed through Parliament. It should be sent to the Select Committee for further consideration in a comprehensive manner, this being in the absence of public consultations.
