MVP Futsal Tournament…
Kaieteur News – The Petra organized MVP Sports Futsal Tournament, which recently had its Men’s Division Group stage completed, awarded the respective finishers with their incentives.
At a simple handover at the tournament venue, the National Gymnasium, the top team from the three Groups received $50,000 each while the second place finishers carted off with $30,000 each.

Petra’s Jackie Boodie presented the respective teams with their incentives on Thursday at the National Gymnasium.
The third place holders were the recipients of $20,000 each while the fourth place finishers had to settle for $10,000 each.
Stabroek Ballers won Group A with seven points while Bent Street (5) finished second, Sparta (4) were third and BV Team Cruel (0) ended last.
In Group B, Gold is Money was the top team with seven points and a superior goal difference while Future Stars (7) were second, Tiger Bay copped third with three points while Mocha Family ended without a point.
Group C was won by Back Circle with seven points ahead of Campbellville (6), Sophia (3) and Vengy FC, in that order.
The competition is set to continue tomorrow with the quarterfinal stage in the Men’s Division and the final four matches of the Group stage in the Women’s Division.
