Kaieteur News – A police rank popularly known for his funny Tiktok videos and Facebook posts died five days after his motorcycle crashed into a car at Enmore, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
The policeman has been identified as Constable Roger Bowen. The accident occurred on October 14 last while, the policeman was heading home.
According to statement issued by the Guyana Police Force, Bowen sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he was admitted as a patient of the High Dependency Unit. Five days later on Wednesday, he succumbed to his injuries around 06:30hrs.
Kaieteur News understands that the driver of the car he collided with was arrested but released on station bail pending an investigation. Many have since expressed shock at his sudden demise.
